Our stay at this resort was lovely, thanks to the quirky and comfortable shack we stayed in. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach, and we were delighted to have some wildlife visiting us. However, we faced some issues with the cleanliness and inconsistency in service, which affected our overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
The shack we stayed in was a bit odd, as one bedroom was separate from the main living area, and we had to go outside to access the bathroom. It could have been better if all the appliances were in working order.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were helpful, there seemed to be a lack of enthusiasm which impacted our interactions. It felt like they were going through the motions rather than providing top-notch service.
Location
9.0
The resort's location was fantastic, right across the road from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. It's also close to several walking trails and local amenities.
Dining
7.0
Although there were limited dining options, we enjoyed our time at the cafe with its delicious pizza. However, we felt a wider variety of breakfast options would have enhanced our experience.
Facilities
6.0
The resort had good facilities including a kitchenette stocked with essentials, but we did experience some issues such as an empty gas bottle for the BBQ.

6.8/10

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The pool was excellent for swimming laps and was clean, but the accessibility to the beach could be improved as it's across a busy road. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made my stay enjoyable, though the shack I stayed in was quite small and not as luxurious as I expected. Overall, it was decent value for money, but I would recommend considering larger accommodations if you need more space.

Rooms
6.0
The shack was very clean but quite tiny and lacked some privacy as the second bedroom is in a separate building.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, especially Laura, who was particularly helpful.
Location
7.0
The hotel is set amidst beautiful bushland but requires crossing a busy road to access the beach, which is not ideal for families.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were quite limited, but having a kitchen in the shack allowed for self-catering.
Facilities
7.0
The pool was an excellent feature, great for laps and very clean, but the parking situation was inconvenient as it was away from the shacks.

We had a mixed experience at the resort. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff were incredibly cheerful and accommodating, which really stood out. However, the room felt a bit outdated and needed some maintenance, and the Wi-Fi reception was quite poor. Overall, it was decent value for money but improvements are definitely needed.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but quite outdated, and the musty smell was noticeable. Additionally, the layout was uncomfortable since the bathroom was not attached to the main unit.
Service
9.0
The staff were very friendly and eager to assist, which made our stay more enjoyable.
Location
9.0
The resort is in a great location, a short and pleasant walk to the beach and very quiet, perfect for relaxation.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were limited, but the on-site cafe had decent food selections and an enjoyable atmosphere.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were basic and in need of upgrades, but they were satisfactory for a casual beach stay.

6.4/10

We had an average stay with some highlights and a few disappointments. The room was basic but clean and tidy, while the pool area was marred by unruly visitors who weren’t staying at the resort. Dining options were limited and we definitely missed having breakfast included. Overall, it's decent for a short stay if you come prepared.

Rooms
7.0
The room was basic but clean, equipped with a fridge and cooking facilities, though it lacked some amenities like coffee and tea.
Service
8.0
The staff was responsive when we had issues with the room configuration and were quick to provide an extra bed.
Location
6.0
The resort is a short walk from Stradbroke Hotel, but getting there can be tricky after dark due to poor lighting.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were very limited, with a small café onsite, making it wise to bring your own food or plan to eat out.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area lacked supervision, which was disappointing, but the overall facilities were functional.

I had a mixed experience at the resort. The location is beautiful and had a lot of wildlife around, making it very relaxing. However, the rooms, though clean, were quite small and not as modern as the photos suggested. Additionally, while the staff was friendly, the value for money didn't quite meet expectations due to the misleading descriptions of the accommodations.

Rooms
6.0
The shack we stayed in was clean but surprisingly small and not as modern as the photos. It fit two people, but I expected more space and nicer amenities given the price.
Service
9.0
The staff were warm and welcoming, always willing to help and not invasive at all, which I really appreciated.
Location
8.0
The location is excellent, immersed in nature and close to the beach, but be prepared to cross a busy road to get there.
Dining
7.0
We had some enjoyable meals, especially the delicious Manchego ratatouille, but I wish there were more options available.
Facilities
8.0
The pool was fantastic for a day of laps and very clean, but some areas could use a bit more care.
